Hi, my name is...

Hi my name is Spinner and I'm a blogaholic. It's been 24 hours since my last post. I try not to let blogging rule my life and that is why I don't post every day. I do, however read other peoples blogs every day and I am also addicted to the Next Blog button or the Random Blog button. It just depends on which window I'm in. I have found some pretty interesting and fascinating things in my blogging ventures. I have also found some blogs that I don't understand. Usually because they are in a different language. I admit I do have a life outside of blogging but that life is just a distraction from where I really want to be. And that is here reading about other peoples lives. Just kidding. But don't be offended, I could be reading about your life at this very moment. Maybe not. I know that not all blogs are interesting and maybe mine is not interesting to you. That doesn't matter. They are all just our way and means of expression and really only serve the person who is creating the blog. There are few exceptions tho, such as, news blogs, business blogs, gaming blogs...okay there's more to some of them than personal stuff. I like reading the personal ones tho. It gives me an idea of how other people live and think. Sometimes I learn from these people. Sometimes I laugh. Some times I just hit the next button. Don't worry, I may return at another date to your blog. Or not. Different blogs effect or appeal to different people in different ways. So what I may like or think is cool, you may think is disgusting or visa versa. All I'm saying is that blogging has opened my eyes to a whole new spectrum of ideas and personalities. It's definately more interesting than watching tv, unless the Red Wings are on or 24(Blog Fact: Superman wears Jack Bauer pajamas). Well guess I've bored you enough. Maybe I'll post tomorrow, maybe I won't.

The Playoffs Rule

Please Mr Holmstrom, Make them stop shooting at me

The "Kipper" faced 97 shots in the first 2 games in round 1 of the playoffs. Surprisingly enough only allowed 7 of those shots in the net. Calgary has an elite goaltender, too bad the rest of the team is out of control. Sorry "Kipper" but We've only just begun.

I THINK HE'S DEAD

He's not but maybe The Penguins hopes are if people like Malkin don't step up a little. Of course the media isn't helping by calling them "Sidney Crosby's Penguins."
He's only one guy, whatever happened to teamwork. I guess that's another reason I'm a Red Wings fan. The team doesn't depend on one single player. They all equally share the load. They're the Detroit Red Wings, not Lidstroms or Zetterbergs Red Wings.

I got the above photos from Canada.com

Keith Richards Alive and...well, alive

Saw this photo on the Blonde Sagacity blog today while blog surfing and thought this PS master has nailed it.

Who in their right mind would think to snort their fathers ashes. "SEE KIDS...THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS!!!"

Personally, it amazes me that he is still alive. I wonder what technology they have that is keeping him alive. I want a piece of that action. I have to admit tho, even though I've never really been a Stones fan, he has contributed immensely to Rock and Roll and should be respected and revered as such. I just think it's time for him to stop speaking to the public. Maybe take his urn and his vile and retire. There are just some things that we don't need to know.

From The Nuge To Berries?

I had this dream.
I was hanging out at this local bar with some friends. We were having a few drinks while watching the band when the owner comes up to me and says he has to talk to me in the back room. I had known the owner for over 10 years and had been a regular patron in his club along with playing for his establishment in a couple different bands. Anyway, we go back into his office and he tells me to sit down. I say "Okay, what's up?" That's when he told me that Ted Nugent was in his club last week and he was looking for a bass player. He said that he had recommended me to Ted and hoped that I didn't mind that he gave him my number. I told him , of course I didn't mind, and thanked him but told him the chances of me getting a call from Uncle Ted was pretty slim to none. To my surprise, I actually did hear from Ted and he invited me out to audition for his next tour. After the audition, Ted told me that he was pretty satisfied with what I was playing and told me I needed to be ready to start touring by the end of the following week. So I worked hard and was ready. We did a few shows and I was feeling pretty confident when he came up to me and said, "If you want to stay in the band, there's only one more thing you have to do" Like I said, I was feeling pretty confident and told him I was up for the challenge. He said to meet him the next day on his ranch.
The following morning I show up and there he is in all his hunter garb. He said I would have to hunt and kill a deer. First let me say, I'm not a hunter but I have no problem with people that do as long as they use all of what they kill. Anyway, I told him I would try and asked him for his shot gun. He shook his head no. I then asked for the bow and arrow. Again he shook his head no. I then asked for his knife. He still was shaking his head no and said that I would have to kill the deer with my bare hands. That's when I woke up. I was unable to return to that particular dream, so I don't know if I'm still in the band or not. But it did make me wonder about how much more of a fighting chance these animals would have if we were only allowed to fight with our bare hands. I'm not trying to advocate anything. I like the rules the way they are and would probably starve if it weren't for the hunters and farmers and such. Love my meat and potatoes. And for those of you that choose to be vegetarians, that's your right to choose that. I'm just saying that I don't think I could kill a deer with my bare hands and would probably be eating berries for the rest of my life. Of course I have starting fishing over the past couple years so it would be berries and trout for me. Unless....Hey Ted ..Call me

This just scares me

I promised myself that I wouldn't get political on my blog. But, you have to admit, whether you are Democrat or Republican, something just ain't right here.

How I feel

I saw this photo at chickencrap.com and thought "perfect" It's just one of those days where everything is building inside you and you do everything in your power to hold it inside but instead, you squeeze out a little poo and think to yourself..."self?...Who can I fling this at?"
That's all I have today. And, Yes I feel better now.
